SIMPLE CARBURATOR

Hello friends,

Show my previous articles for automobile engines details and this articles show on how supply fuel in engine? It’s  simplest form of carburetor form is show in figure . the basic construction of  the carburetor of the carburetor can be divide into the part of where the gasoline fuel and air are mixture and float chamber or the part where  constant amount of gasoline is always stored.

At the center of mixing chamber, there is part is called the vanturi where the diameter has been drawn  smaller , the main nozzle discharging the gasoline at normal engine speed is located at center of the vanturi. Below this at part is throttle valve is a disc shapes its adjusted serves to the amount of mixture. It’s linked at driver compartment to the accelerator pedal in the driver control the engine speed. The choke valve to adjusted the amount of air in the mixture.  The float chamber is comprise of bowl shape part cost integrated with the mixing fuel and needle valve is linked to the float are as show in the figure.

The principle shell now be taken up,
The gasoline supplied by the fuel pump is first stored in the float chamber and maintain the float chamber level by float. In the engine intake stroke the piston moves downward  motion the air in the cylinder cousing fresh air flow in the cylinder through the air cleaner, carburetor, and intake manifold. When this air passes through the narrow part of the air horn or venturi, it’s speed rise and with the drop in the pressure, the gasoline in the drown through the main nozzle. The gasoline drawn in is blown by the fast  air-flow and vaporized and mixture is then drawn in the cylinder. That principle in this case is the same as that of household sprayer or atomize.

Parts of engine -4

HELLO FRIENDS, Previous article we have discuss parts of engine crankcase, cylinder liner and piston introduction. In this article we have discuss material  of  piston and piston  clearance. So…..lets start,😊 Material  for piston : The material used for piston is mainly aluminium alloy. Aluminium piston can be either cast or forged. Cast iron is also used for piston. Yearly  cast iron was almost universal  material for piston because it's excellent  wearing qualities, co-efficient of expansion and general  suitability in manufacture. Due to reduce of weight of metal is necessary, light metal is lost. Aluminium is inferior to cast iron in strength and wearing qualities, and it's greater  co-efficient of expansion greater clearance in the cylinder to avoid the risk  of seizures. The thermal heat conductivity of aluminium  is about three times that of cast iron and this combined  with greater thickness necessary for s...

parts of engine -3

HELLO FRIENDS, Previous article we have discuss parts of cylinder block, cylinder head and this article we have discuss crankcase and cylinder liner and piston introduction. So…..lets start,😊 3. Crankcase: Crankcase is attached to the bottom face of the cylinder block. Crankcase is base on the engine. It is supported the crankshaft and camshaft in suitable bearings and provided the arm for supporting the engine on the frame. The oil pan and the lower part of cylinder block together are called the crankcase. Sometimes you are thinking about oil pan, so I can explain this oil pan is bottom half of the crankcase is called oil pan show in figure. it is bolted or screwed to the lower flange of the main casting are usually made of pressed  steel and aluminum. In the crankcase cylinder block and upper half of the crankcase usually are cast as single integral unit. This casting is usually made of a ferrous alloy or semi-steel provide to stronger and ...
