Crankcase: Crankcase is attached to the bottom face of the cylinder block. Crankcase is base on the engine. It is supported the crankshaft and camshaft in suitable bearings and provided the arm for supporting the engine on the frame. The oil pan and the lower part of cylinder block together are called the crankcase. Cylinder block :                Cylinder block, cylinder head and crankcase these three parts are the foundation of body of automobile engine. Cylinder blocks and crankcase are single form of casting, which gives a rigid structure of casting. In cylinder block are made of some parts name are hear is water passages,dry liner, bearing of crankcase, ribs...etc. Ribs are cast in the crankcase to give in extra strength and support and some cases, the crank shaft bearing.
